Local and National Prizewinners!


                                                                                                                At the North Staffordshire Drama Association Festival of Full Length Plays in June 2012, The Anniversary  took the John Goldsmith Memorial Trophy  for first place in the Festival. The Harold Horton Memorial Trophy for Best Actress  was awarded to the Society for the role of  Mum, in the same play.

 

All three of the season's productions were nominated for awards, including Best Actor, Best Supporting Role, Best Actor under 21, and Best Stage Presentation.

At the North Staffordshire Drama Association Festival of Full Length plays in June 2011, the role of Anita Manchip in Quartermaine's Terms proved a prizewinner, taking the Brian Roberts Memorial Trophy for Best supporting Role.

 

Also short listed for this award were the roles of Saul Hodgkin, and Miss Bourne (both in Ghost Train). The role of Teddy Deakin in Ghost Train was shortlisted for the Malcolm Edwards Memorial Trophy for Best Male Actor, and the role of Derek Meadle in Quartermaine's Terms for the Betty Bode Memorial Trophy for Best Comedy Performance

                                                        In the British All-Winners Festival in July 2010 at the Thameside Theatre in Grays, Essex, the acting talent of a brilliant cast - combined with fine team work by a dedicated crew  -won the Amateur Stage Award for second place in this national competition for Stafford Players with their production of Humble Boy.
